In order to safely
undertake this phase of training you are required to have achieved a basic
level of core fitness. This can be done by visiting the Initialization Phase.
If you can comfortably
complete 30 minutes of continuous aerobic activity and can cover at least 5km
(3.1miles) in this time, and are able to complete 3 sets of push-ups of 10
repetitions each and 3 sets of sit-ups of 12 repetitions each, then please read
on.
In this phase of the
programme you will further enhance your core body fitness and begin to focus on
muscle groups specific to certain actions. You will also be introduced to
time-efficient and effective methods for improving anaerobic power.
